Welcome to 8th Grade Science - GeneQuest!

GeneQuest is an exciting journey into the world of genetics and heredity! In this course, we will explore the fundamental principles of genetics, including how traits are inherited, the role of dominant and recessive genes, and the fascinating processes that determine our unique characteristics. Together, we will delve into the science of Punnett squares, pedigree charts, and the ethical considerations surrounding genetic manipulation and selective breeding.

Otherwise, you will find all content information and activities each day within the course modules.

3.) Take a moment to listen to the audio recording below! This will help you become familiar with myself and the concepts that we will explore throughout this course. After listening the recording, you will introduce yourself! Head over to the "Introduce Yourself!" discussion board and share your name, a fun fact about you, and what you’re most excited to learn in this course (Due Monday). You will also reply to one other classmates post (Due Tuesday). Specific directions for this ice breaker are located directly in the discussion board.
