About the Systematic Reviews Module

This module will provide you with the basic knowledge and steps to begin a systematic review. This module provides an overview and guidance but it is not intended to be the only tool utilized in conducting a systematic review. Also, although systematic reviews can be completed without the assistance of a librarian, we do recommend that you at least consult a librarian when designing the search strategies and choosing which databases to use.

This module will cover:

  1. What are Systematic Reviews & What is Required
  2. Preparing for your Systematic Review
  3. Developing & Running the Search
  4. Screening & Selecting Studies
  5. Synthesizing Data & Writing the Review

Due to the amount of information that is provided in this module, most participants will require at least an hour to complete it.
