What is OhioLINK?

OhioLINK is the statewide academic library consortium that serves 88 institutions (that include 117 libraries) and the State Library of Ohio. This consortium provides access to:

  • More than 38 million books
  • More than 100 databases
  • 37 million articles
  • Almost 250,000 ebooks
  • 85,000 images, videos & sounds
  • More than 100,000 dissertations & theses

Why use OhioLINK?

OhioLINK provides free access to many resources. It might even eliminate the need to purchase textbooks as these can sometimes be borrowed through an OhioLINK library.

When & how to use OhioLINK?

Because of the seamless integration of OhioLINK into many of our library platforms you may not realize when you are actually using OhioLINK resources. Most individuals think of utilizing OhioLINK when they need to borrow a physical copy of a book. When are you needing an item (most likely a book) that is not located at a UC library, you can request it through OhioLINK. The video below walks you through the steps of requesting a book.
